    What’s even worse than that, is that we’re more offended by that than when a young girl or boy is the victim of these sick, twisted freaks.

    I don’t think that is necessarily true. I think people do identify more with what they know – I, for example, don’t have any kids but I do have a Border Collie I have had since she was 5 weeks old. But I am no less apalled when one of these sickos abuses a child.
