Seriously, I doubt many would actually participate in a boycott called for by people I consider to be the equivilant of the inmates at the Democratic Undergound. No organization with any self-respect is going to get behind someone like Rogers, especially given the controversial nature of the material. Without backing by influential organizations (and I mean real backing, with $$ and a considerable audience), a boycott would not scare anyone and could not be sustained. And you are right to point out, any company that would stand by their gay employee is not a boycott target in my book.

In fact, that could actually be quite good for business . From what I have been able to gather in my short exposure to Rogers, I believe his credibility is completely shot.

Most of us bloggers would never think of trying to run a blogger off the net like this. I mean, I’ll do everything I can to expose the faulty logic or false information of a blogger with whom I disagree to try to persuade blog readers to read and trust my blog over so and so’s . . . but to try to deny them their right to speak–NEVER.

My question is: how many people would really follow a boycott led by this bully? Certainly no conservative would participate and how many gay people would follow a boycott of a company that stands by its GAY employee?

That’s what I’d do, if I were in GP’s place.

The man is a coward, he hides behind a WHOIS search sheild.

He is also trampling all over the first amendment.

Don’t let that fanatic stop you, he is a menace to decent people everywhere.
